Success Story — Pornchanok Jarudrungchawalit: Outstanding MBA Graduate of the Year at SSBM Geneva

Pornchanok “Immy” Jarudrungchawalit completed her Master of Business Administration in Global and International Management at the Swiss School of Business and Management (SSBM) Geneva. In October 2024, in Geneva, Switzerland, she received the SSBM Excellence Award naming her the Outstanding Master of Business Administration Graduate of the Year.

The reflection below is her tribute to Dr. Pattisan Kemrichard — “Professor Richard,” as she calls him — one of the professors who shaped that journey.

In Her Own Words

Professor Richard was one of the best professors I had in business school. He had a real impact on my education and career, always offering insightful advice and support.

The Excellence Award is presented in honor of the outstanding MBA student of the year. Hers was conferred in Geneva in October 2024, alongside the degree it recognizes — a Master of Business Administration in Global and International Management.

My Learning Experience with Professor Pattisan

I had the opportunity to study with Professor Pattisan for one semester, but the lessons I learned from him have had a lasting impact on me. His teaching style was practical, adaptable, and closely connected to real-life situations, which helped me apply what I learned to both my work and career development.

Professor Pattisan has supported me through different stages of my journey — from my university years, to pursuing my master’s degree in Switzerland, and later when I moved to the Netherlands and started looking for a job. He even gave me valuable advice on improving my CV and writing motivation letters, which helped me feel more confident in my job search.

What I value most is that his lessons went beyond the classroom. He taught me ways of thinking and approaching challenges that I can continue to use throughout my career and life.

Although I only studied with him for one semester, the knowledge and mindset he shared with me will stay with me for a lifetime.
